The Expert Network

Ukraine has organizations doing serious recovery work. What they often cannot reach is the accumulated experience of practitioners, researchers and educators elsewhere. Ucentria is building the Expert Network to help close that distance.

What the network is designed to be

A developing group of experts, researchers, practitioners and advisors who can make their experience available to Ukrainian organizations through Ucentria. Participation can range from a defined review or teaching session to an ongoing advisory role.

The network will be one way Ucentria delivers support. When an organization needs advice, teaching or review, Ucentria will be responsible for the match, the written scope and the follow-through.

How organizations reach the network

Organizations can bring a defined need to Ucentria. We scope it with them and, when an appropriate expert is available, make a match based on relevant experience and fit.

Every engagement has a written scope, an agreed timeframe and defined responsibilities on both sides, so that neither the organization nor the expert is left managing an open-ended commitment.

Volunteer, paid, or both

Some contributions are voluntary. Others are properly paid consulting work, because expertise has value and expecting professionals to donate substantial time indefinitely is neither realistic nor respectful.

Which applies depends on the scope of the work, the funding available for it, the fit with your practice and what is agreed between us. You are welcome to say you are open to either.

What we do not promise

Registering interest is not an application for employment and does not guarantee assignments, payment or acceptance into the network. We will be direct with you about what is available and when.
