The problem we work on
War does its worst damage slowly.
A veteran learning to live in a body that changed. A family still waiting for news. A child who has spent a third of their life under threat. Damage like this is measured in years, and it continues long after the emergency has left the news.
Ukraine is not short of committed organizations doing this work, close to the people they serve. What many lack is access to expertise that already exists elsewhere, and support for the parts of their work that are hardest to fund.
